Over the last four years, I have focussed on motion graphics and animation for television and cinema documentary. I also work in other fields such as advertising entertainment and drama.

In January 2025 I was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival with the indie feature documentary, Khartoum. The film won The Peace Film Award at Berlin International Film Festival as well as Best Documentary at the African Academy Awards. I was also the motion graphic artist for two major Netflix and Sky series launched in 2025.

When I commit to a project, I give it everything—no matter the challenges or deadlines. I’m a listener, an ideas person, an innovator, and a reliable professional who knows the industry inside and out.

My passion for animation began at the age of 10 when my dad gave me a Cine 8mm camera, which sparked a lifelong fascination with the medium. This led me to pursue a degree in puppet animation. From there, I applied my creative skills to the emerging world of the internet, designing quirky Flash websites during its infancy.

I continued to develop as a graphic designer working on album covers, book design and websites, but eventually I felt drawn back to my roots in animation. I immersed myself in motion graphics and with producer/director Simon Alveranga created a varied collection of wild music videos.

Our work gained traction, leading us into television advertising, where we founded the production company KASH, which operated for 12 years. During this time, I directed and edited commercials for cinema and TV, travelled the world, directed from a skiddoo, a snowboard, a helicopter, at sea, on a cliff face, you name it.
